Tryout Waiver Process

GIC27 tryout registration opens October 15, 2026. You can create your FREE GIC Verified profile now so you are ready.

There will be no in-person GIC27' Regional Tryout in the Midwest Region.
Midwest athletes may complete the Tryout Waiver Process for $50 to become eligible for consideration for the GIC27' Draft.
A GIC Verified profile is required so coaches and GIC evaluators can review the athlete's information and film.

Tryout Waiver
The Tryout Waiver is available to athletes who cannot attend a regional tryout in person. Athletes who use the waiver will be considered for roster selection based solely on the information provided in their GIC Verified profile and reviewed by GIC coaches.
A stronger and more complete profile gives athletes a greater opportunity to be evaluated and considered for the GIC27' Draft.

Golden Ticket Recipients
Golden Ticket recipients receive an automatic pass to GIC Draft Night and are not required to attend regional tryouts. However, Golden Ticket recipients are welcome to attend if they choose.
The discounted registration prices below apply to athletes who are awarded a Golden Ticket by GIC staff.

Every athlete must create at least a FREE GIC Verified profile.
Athletes with a GIC Verified Membership Profile have a greater opportunity to be evaluated and considered for the draft because coaches can review more information, including multiple videos, photos, report cards, links, and previous GIC event details.
Important for all athletes
- Come prepared and ready to compete.
- OL/DL athletes must bring helmets.
- QBs should bring their own footballs.
- Every athlete must create at least a FREE GIC Verified profile.
- Athletes using the Tryout Waiver will be evaluated based on their GIC Verified profile.
- A complete profile with strong film and information provides the best opportunity for evaluation.
